Does he have me beat?

My brother-in-law, Ian and I were trying to decide who had the bigger pregnancy belly. I think he has me beat at this point but watch out!!! Give me a few more weeks and I think I will pass him by!

14 week bump!!!

Well, here's the belly at 14 weeks. It feels much larger to me than it looks! Today was a pretty good day as far as feeling good. We spent the day packing with my sister and her husband and we feel like we accomplished quite a bit! We still have a long ways to go, though! Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we "grow" and move! Thank you, Jesus, for "knitting this baby in my womb!"

Moving

Well, we have finally sold our house! Thank you, Jesus! It has been for sale since last March so we are so thrilled and relieved to finally have it sold! So now we are in the midst of organizing and packing and apartment hunting! We spent several hours this weekend driving around northern Indianapolis searching for just the perfect place. We have it narrowed down to two and I THINK we've decided on one of those! It sure is weird to go from living in a house to looking at living in an apartment but we will make it work! I just HAVE to keep in mind that it is temporary and "this too shall pass"!!!!

Things with the baby are fine. I still don't feel the greatest and continue to have quesiness and vomiting. I just take it as a sign from the good Lord that everything is ok in there! I'm well into my 13th week so I'm ready for this to be over and PRAY that it does not last the entire 40 weeks! But if it does, I will be so grateful when our precious bundle of joy finally arrives! Thanks to you all for your continued support and prayers. Please continue to pray for Baby Heuer and also for the Heuer move. We have A LOT to do in the next couple of weeks and we're going to need lots of strength to get it all done! We love you all and appreciate what each of you means to us!

Second Trimester

Well, we are officially into our second trimester!! We went to the Doctor again yesterday
(1-26-07) and our precious baby's heartbeat was 154 beats per minute, which is very healthy!!! I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get pictures from this ultrasound but at the same time, I was so "at peace" hearing that heartbeat! I have been feeling pretty rotten for the past 6 weeks but yesterday, for our appointment, I felt great! I was so relieved to wake up feeling well and asked the Lord to make that the start of something good! Well, of course we all know HE IS IN CONTROL!!! I woke up this morning and had my first pregnancy "throw up". Eric and I were wondering how many women can say they never threw up in their first trimester but did in their second??? Jennifer Heuer can officially say that happened to her!

Hopefully soon the outside world will be able to see the expanding belly that I feel! Once it's apparent, I will be sure to post some pictures of the belly!

Ultrasound #2

I LOVE this picture for several reasons. First of all, the baby resembles a little gummy bear! And second, you can actually see the beats of the heart down at the bottom. A VERY healthy heartbeat of 162 beats per minute! This one took place on 12/27/06. We will go back at twelve weeks for yet another ultrasound! I love those things! They just bring so much comfort!!! Praise God for such an incredible miracle!

We're having a baby!

Here is our first ultrasound picture at 5 weeks and 6 days (12/14/06). The baby is so tiny but we were still able to hear a precious heartbeat!!! What a miracle! We are so thrilled to be starting this journey in our lives!!! August 10th can NOT come quickly enough!!!
