2 month check-up

Isaiah saw his sweet doctor today for his 2 month check up. He weighed in at 10 pounds even and he was 22 1/4 in. long! He is truly thriving and for that we are so thankful!! Everything looked "perfect" the doctor said and he was on his best behavior!

He also got a couple of shots today. I don't know who it hurt the most for him to get the shots but it was extremely hard on both Eric and myself. I think Isaiah cried a little louder than mommy but mommy shed more tears. :( How awful to watch pain being inflicted upon your child. Thank you God for sending your son to die on the cross. It gives us a bit more of an idea of how painful that was for our Heavenly Father to give such a sacrifice.

On a lighter note, Isaiah had a couple of visitors this week. Eric had to work late on Wednesday night as well as Uncle David so Auntie Jess came to visit and joined us for dinner! While she was here, she got to feed Isaiah a bottle and participate in playtime. She made it interesting for him and sang all kinds of fun songs. I was able to capture her helping Isaiah with the motions to "Father Abraham"!

He loved his time with Aunt Jess and hopes she comes back soon!

He really likes her pretty singing voice!
He also had a visit from Miss Jodi! Mommy had Miss Jodi's son, Hunter in her class when she taught at Blackhawk Christian School in Fort Wayne. Before mommy and daddy moved to Fishers, Miss Jodi and Hunter and the rest of their family moved to Fishers. About a month ago, their family made another move to North Carolina. We were and are very sad about that move because we were looking forward to many fun times with the Claycomb family! Miss Jodi came back to Fishers to tie up a few loose ends and she was so nice to stop by and visit for a while on Thursday! How exciting for Isaiah to see her again before she made the trip back to North Carolina! We miss you, Claycomb family!

Isaiah is looking forward to another fun weekend! Mimi and Pop are coming up to visit from Evansville so he's ready to get spoiled again! Have a great weekend!!

Thank you so much for sharing your precious little man with me!! :) Thank you, Isaiah, for your adorable smiles for Miss Jodi as well! I think you should talk to Mommy and Daddy about the free babysitting offer in North Carolina!! :)
