Whoa....really?

Yes, really....this is my second post in two days!  Eric is out for the afternoon picking out things for a house and left me the computer!  YAY!  And it's nap time so that means mommy gets to update the blog :)  Just thought I would put some updated pictures on of the boys.  Even though I posted pics of our Indiana trip just yesterday, that trip was over a month ago and the boys have changed since then!

When I do Noah's weekly picture, Isaiah always wants to join in on the fun so every once in a while I'm able to get a shot or two of them together!
And here is my big two year old by himself!
Noah has gotten really good at tummy time and depending on the time of day, he will stay on his tummy for quite some time!  He has some really fun squeaky toys he likes to look at and play with!
Yesterday, I was able to get some really good shots of both boys.  Isaiah LOVES (and I mean absolutely LOVES) to play with water.  He loves to be in the water, he loves to "wash" dishes....anything that has to do with water, he loves it!  So, he's been helping mommy at the sink lately and yesterday Noah watched him!  It was good cheap entertainment for both boys! (And just for the record, Noah is not a thumb-sucker - yet!  But he does suck on his hands ALL the time!)
He actually took a break to smile for me!
Then he was right back to his water duties!
"Now how do I get the soap out of here?"
Oh boy, is this fun!!!!
My big brother is the coolest!
What a face!  Isn't it delicious?
In case it isn't clear, I want it to be known that I absolutely adore my boys!  I am tired and worn out at the end of each day but I would not trade this life for anything!  I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to stay home with these precious gifts.  And I am so grateful to have such an amazingly hard working husband who makes it possible for me to do so!  Thank you, Lord, for these three treasures!

Just a few of my favorites...

OK, I know this is SO long overdue but I really have not had time to do this and even tonight, I'm exhausted so I won't write much but I wanted to get these up here.  It may seem like a lot of pictures but I took almost 600 while we were in Indiana so I think I did a pretty good job of whittling them down!  They are in chronological order of our time there (as if anyone really cares but it's kind of an OCD thing of mine, I guess!)

Noah and Micah at Porch Reunion
Lisa and me - such a great friend!
Isaiah with cousin Wil
Noah with my mom and my Nana
Eric and me with our boy on his second birthday (at Chuck E Cheese!)!!!!
Isaiah with Mia - we were trying to get them to kiss and neither one of them was too fond of the idea!  Angie eventually got a shot but it took a while!
Eric with our boys and the Huebers!  We love the Huebers!  And can you tell it was nap time :)
Isaiah playing a little cornhole!
Eric with beautiful Lilly!  I wish I had a picture on here of Lilly's mommy and me but we didn't take any :(
Isaiah with Gamma driving the boat
Noah with sweet Lana
Three generations of Heuer men
Our boys with their sweet Gigi - this was one of the last times we saw Gigi.  A couple weeks after we got back to Florida, Gigi went "home" to be with Jesus!  What an amazing woman of God she was and we know she is singing with the angels in Heaven!  And she's also walking hand in hand with Grandad! :)
Noah with Aunt Rachel!
Isaiah loving the boat
Isaiah after having his very own ice cream cone for the first time!  He LOVED it!
Eric telling his grandma a funny story at Isaiah's birthday party!
Isaiah playing with his poppa
My boy at his birthday party!
Noah with his Mimi and his Nonni!
Noah in the exersaucer for the first time!  Thank you Lilly for letting us use it!
Isaiah helping Mimi with her flowers!
Isaiah with Aunt Vicki!
OK, I have to stop....my eyes have bricks on them they are so heavy!  To wrap it up in a few words, we LOVED our time in Indiana!  The weather was beautiful, the boys did great traveling (except Noah hates the car!), our friends are awesome, our family is amazing, and we can't wait to see everyone again!

I promise I'll try to do better at updating!  My boys are growing and changing so quickly and they just get more and more precious!  I just can't believe Isaiah is TWO and Noah is almost five months old....how does that happen?

Sneak Peek

I would like to think that life will slow down just enough for me to update the blog about our fantastic trip to Indiana but so far, it isn't happening!  So, I guess I'll just have to keep up with the pace we're going and take care of that update!  However, tonight is not the night!  I'm too exhausted, so in place of a full-detailed post, I thought I would provide a few pics of my precious boys since we have returned!  Noah went to Indiana a rather fussy little guy and returned to Florida a very pleasant and happy baby! :)  Now if he would just start sleeping like his brother did at this age then we would all be a bit happier!

Recent pics

This picture just makes me laugh!  Noah looks like a deer in headlights! :)
My little chubbers at three months old!
We had friends over to hang out on Saturday night.  These are two of the girls from church who have had baby boys with me and Noah (Sarah and Dalton and Emily and Cole!)
Mommy and baby!
We had dinner at Ian and Leah's house last night.  Eli thought it would be fun to sit on Isaiah's lap!
Cousins - Noah and Selah

The boys had a fun evening in the pool tonight.  It was Noah's first time to get in and even though he was very solemn, I think he really enjoyed it!

Pics and Welcome

First of all, is it really possible that my baby is three months old?????  Look at that sweet, fat little face :)  The past couple days have been rough in the life of Noah.  We had a really good thing going with naps and night time sleep but ever since Sunday, his sleeping has gone down hill and quickly.  Momma is not too thrilled about it and a little overwhelmed trying to figure out what in the world is going on!  It is amazing how different my two boys are!  Isaiah was so laid back and such a little go-with-the-flow kind of baby.  Noah, well, he is a little more, what you call, high maintenance!  I was telling a friend about it the other day and she said, "that is just a second child for you!"  I know he's growing and thriving (and he has even rolled over from tummy to back several times) but I want him to be getting good sleep too!
Isaiah is continuing to change and amaze us every day!  He talks unbelievably well and is saying more and more each day!  He is also going through an incredibly independent stage!  Everything is, "No momma, I do it"!  Yesterday at breakfast he had a fork and I had a fork.  He grabbed my fork and said, "two forks"!  That was the first time he had verbalized that he recognized there was more than one of something.  He did it again later in the day with balls.  After he got up this morning, I was talking to him about how he slept well and had a good night's sleep.  I asked him who got him up and he said, "daddy did!"  I was so excited he added that "did" onto daddy!

Here he is having a blast with post-it notes!  It looks like he's thinking, "what in the world is this thing?  I am not impressed!"
Playing with the hose!  If you click on the picture to make it larger, you can see that Isaiah has an ouchy on his forehead and under his nose.  He was playing in the pool the other day and fell, did a backwards flip and scraped his face on the steps.  It scared daddy out of his skin and Isaiah was hardly phased!  I think it looked worse than it was but oh how thankful we were that it was nothing worse!
And now, I would like to welcome precious Selah Grace Heuer (pronounced Sayla) into this family and into this world!  Leah (and Ian) welcomed her on Tuesday, July 14th and 6:38 am.  She was 7 lbs. 6 oz. and 20 1/2 in. long!
Here is proud daddy with his little girl and his nephew, Noah!
Nonni introducing Isaiah to Selah for the first time!
When we got Isaiah out of bed a couple days ago, this is how we found him!  Apparently he had a rough night :)
And here are the three of the greatest guys I know!  And the best part is, I get to live with them and love on them day in and day out!  I love my life and I love my family!  Daddy and Isaiah were making Noah smile!  He is quite a little smiler and has the cutest little dimples!  His eyes just sparkle and speaking of eyes, we are thinking his might just stay blue!  They are gorgeous!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!  Just a little side note, my Isaiah is going to be TWO YEARS OLD in ten days.  It just doesn't seem right!  It makes me happy and a bit sad at the same time.  I just cannot believe HOW quickly they change and grow!
