This picture just makes me laugh!  Noah looks like a deer in headlights! :)

We had friends over to hang out on Saturday night.  These are two of the girls from church who have had baby boys with me and Noah (Sarah and Dalton and Emily and Cole!)

We had dinner at Ian and Leah's house last night.  Eli thought it would be fun to sit on Isaiah's lap!

The boys had a fun evening in the pool tonight.  It was Noah's first time to get in and even though he was very solemn, I think he really enjoyed it!

Pics and Welcome

First of all, is it really possible that my baby is three months old?????  Look at that sweet, fat little face :)  The past couple days have been rough in the life of Noah.  We had a really good thing going with naps and night time sleep but ever since Sunday, his sleeping has gone down hill and quickly.  Momma is not too thrilled about it and a little overwhelmed trying to figure out what in the world is going on!  It is amazing how different my two boys are!  Isaiah was so laid back and such a little go-with-the-flow kind of baby.  Noah, well, he is a little more, what you call, high maintenance!  I was telling a friend about it the other day and she said, "that is just a second child for you!"  I know he's growing and thriving (and he has even rolled over from tummy to back several times) but I want him to be getting good sleep too!
Isaiah is continuing to change and amaze us every day!  He talks unbelievably well and is saying more and more each day!  He is also going through an incredibly independent stage!  Everything is, "No momma, I do it"!  Yesterday at breakfast he had a fork and I had a fork.  He grabbed my fork and said, "two forks"!  That was the first time he had verbalized that he recognized there was more than one of something.  He did it again later in the day with balls.  After he got up this morning, I was talking to him about how he slept well and had a good night's sleep.  I asked him who got him up and he said, "daddy did!"  I was so excited he added that "did" onto daddy!

Here he is having a blast with post-it notes!  It looks like he's thinking, "what in the world is this thing?  I am not impressed!"
Playing with the hose!  If you click on the picture to make it larger, you can see that Isaiah has an ouchy on his forehead and under his nose.  He was playing in the pool the other day and fell, did a backwards flip and scraped his face on the steps.  It scared daddy out of his skin and Isaiah was hardly phased!  I think it looked worse than it was but oh how thankful we were that it was nothing worse!
And now, I would like to welcome precious Selah Grace Heuer (pronounced Sayla) into this family and into this world!  Leah (and Ian) welcomed her on Tuesday, July 14th and 6:38 am.  She was 7 lbs. 6 oz. and 20 1/2 in. long!
Here is proud daddy with his little girl and his nephew, Noah!
Nonni introducing Isaiah to Selah for the first time!
When we got Isaiah out of bed a couple days ago, this is how we found him!  Apparently he had a rough night :)
And here are the three of the greatest guys I know!  And the best part is, I get to live with them and love on them day in and day out!  I love my life and I love my family!  Daddy and Isaiah were making Noah smile!  He is quite a little smiler and has the cutest little dimples!  His eyes just sparkle and speaking of eyes, we are thinking his might just stay blue!  They are gorgeous!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!  Just a little side note, my Isaiah is going to be TWO YEARS OLD in ten days.  It just doesn't seem right!  It makes me happy and a bit sad at the same time.  I just cannot believe HOW quickly they change and grow!

200 Posts and Precious Boys

Well, this just so happens to be my 200th post!  If blogger didn't keep track for you, I wouldn't know, but it's pretty cool that I have blogged 200 times since I started this! :)

I don't really have too much to say but I have quite a few cute pictures.  Isaiah just adores his bath time!  In fact, Isaiah had a really tough morning this morning and really wanted to just take a bath, so a bath we did! He loves bubbles!
Mommy had a little fun with the shampoo!
He was so cute looking in the mirror.  He was saying, "Isaiah, where are you?"
Isaiah has become extremely interested in what he wears.  He brings me his shoes at least once a day and asks me to help put them on!  He LOVES wearing his shoes.  This particular day he was very adamant that he wear a hat and socks!
Here he is with the hat and socks working hard on writing his name!
Here's our little Noah talking with daddy!
Aunt Leah was able to catch Noah smiling at mommy today during a great conversation!
Tonight, Noah and I took dinner to our great friends Nick and Emily.  They had sweet baby Cole on June 9th.  He was 5 lbs. 14 oz. when he was born and he was a bit over 6 pounds tonight.  Noah is probably 13 pounds so it's hard to tell in this picture but there was a huge difference in size!  I love Noah's face in this picture!  It's like he's saying, "mom, are you kidding me?  Another picture?"

TWO MONTHS OLD!

I am just having such a hard time believing that my baby is two months old!  He is growing so fast and time is just flying by!  In just over a month, my first born will be TWO YEARS OLD!

Noah went to the doctor on Thursday for his two month well-baby visit!  Everything checked out perfectly!  He weighed in at 12 pounds 12 ounces (60%) and he was 24 inches long (75%).  I think this one is going to have his daddy's build!  He is considerably bigger than Isaiah was at this stage!  Noah is really becoming quite the talker and smiling more and more.  I do, however, think that he is going to be like his big brother when it comes to the camera!  Anytime I pull out the camera to try to catch a grin, he immediately wipes it off of his face and becomes fascinated by the contraption in front of him!  Oh well, one of these days you'll get to see his gorgeous smile!  AND, he has dimples! :)  SO CUTE!

We have had so many people tell us they think Noah looks exactly like his big brother!  So, for comparison's sake, I have included a picture of Isaiah at just about the same stage.  I can see some similarities and I think you can definitely tell they are brothers but in mommy's opinion, they do not look exactly alike!  They're both awfully precious, though!

Pool Day

We went to the pool today as a family and LOVED it!  Isaiah is such a water baby and just adores the water!  He is getting more and more brave in the water (which sometimes makes me nervous but he listens really well!) and is pretty good venturing out on his own - with mommy and daddy very close by! :)

SO excited he's swimming by himself!

And I had to include this picture of Noah in the water - ok, he's getting a bath but he didn't get in the pool today!  Bath time is slowly becoming more enjoyable for all of us.  Noah HATES getting out of the tub but is starting to like it IN the tub more and more.  A couple nights ago he just cooed and smiled the whole time - it was WONDERFUL! :)
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

New Pics

Here is my little angel boy sleeping, and SO kissable!
We are slowly starting to figure out Noah's ideal schedule.  Today was a really good day sleeping-wise and hopefully it will stay that way tomorrow, and the next day and the next day...

My boys hanging out together!
Isaiah can get pretty focused!
Oh that face!  I could just eat him up!
I believe Noah was smiling in this one! :)  We are starting to see more smiles!
If you look closely in this one, you can see Noah giving the "OK" sign!
My boys bring me so much joy and I praise God for both of them!  I am thankful for the schedule we are falling into.  Even though Noah is still eating once during the night, I'm getting really nice stretches of sleep so that helps!  A rested mommy leads to a happy house! :)

My darlings

Oh my boys!  They bring me so much joy!

Noah is doing great with a schedule and spends a good amount of the day awake.  We have a good balance of eating, wake and sleep.  He is struggling, though, to stay asleep for a full nap so any Babywise moms out there, any advice???  It seems as though the "45 minute intruder" is already attacking (at SEVEN weeks)!  However he is doing great at night so I can't complain.  Last night he even gave me 7 1/2 hours!  Woo Hoo!!!  Thank you, Jesus!
Eric was burping Noah the other day and Isaiah climbed right up in his lap for some snuggle time!
I was one of "those moms" and had my boys dressed alike yesterday!  Don't they look darling? :)
Here's proof that Isaiah smothers Noah with kisses! :)  Good thing I don't leave them alone!
